Ae Dil Hai Mushkil was his last directorial venture. After producing many films under his banner of Dharma Productions, Johar is back in the director’s chair for Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. An ensemble cast with spearheads like Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, extravagant sets, lovely music and a new love story. Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani Reviews Are Extremely Positive!
All the reviews are from Bollywood stars, who are friends of Ranveer, Alia and Karan Johar so they’re bound to be positive. However, it has been a long time since we’ve had such a big premiere for any film. It seems like the entire community has come in support of the film. Let’s see some of the reviews.
Neetu Kapoor, a Bollywood actress and proud mother-in-law of Alia Bhatt said on her social media, “A complete entertainer with amazing performances by all actor. Alia shines, looks gorgeous.”
Gauri Khan, meanwhile, gave Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani ‘5 stars’.
Vicky Kaushal seemed thoroughly impressed by the film as he said, “Loved every bit of it. Hardcore big screen family entertainer. Take your loved ones…don’t miss it. Karan Johar you are a true master. Tremendous performance by Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh and what joy to watch veterans Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi and Jaya Bachchan on screen. Abhishek Bachchan lauded the family entertainer with, “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is so much fun. Total and complete family entertainer. So proud of my brother Karan Johar, he is back to doing what he does the best – Family entertainment. Go one, go all this Friday with your families and watch. The entire cast is wonderful.”
Malaika Arora joined in the praise train with her comments, “A must watch … Brilliant performance n Wat an awesome cast!”
Bollywood Hungama gave the film 4 out 5 stars.
Filmfare.com called the film “a love story with with a twist.”
After the premiere Katrina Kaif walked out with her husband Vicky Kaushal and told the paparazzi that “Rocky Aur Rani is an Amazing movie, wonderful.”
Ranbir Kapoor too chimed in and told a paparazzi that the movie is “Superhit“.
