Marvel’s Echo TV series is created by Marion Dayre for the streaming service Disney Plus as a part of MCU Phase 5. It is a spin-off of the MCU series, Hawkeye (2021) and is currently in development. Alaqua Cox is going to reprise her role of Maya Lopez/Echo from Hawkeye. Echo is the deaf Native American commander of Tracksuit Mafia, who can perfectly copy another person’s movements. Echo Marvel TV Series Rumors & Leaks
According to recent rumors, Echo tv series is going to contain re-introduction of certain familiar MCU characters, including that of the Netflix-MCU series. Daredevil is going to make an appearance in the show and he’s going to appear in a black and red suit. Wilson Fisk who’s shot at the end of Hawkeye in point-blank and left for dead is also set to return in Echo.
He wears an eye-patch, probably covering his wound and his storyline builds to him running up for Mayor in the MCU. If the leaks are true, this is the second time Fisk/Kingpin has contemplated to run for the Mayor of New York, as he previously tried that in Netflix’s Daredevil season 1. The catch here is this time he’s officially in the MCU and his presence can attract some superheroes more actively.
Matt Murdock will also be searching for Jessica Jones and this would ultimately leads into the new series revival of Daredevil, which is considered to be both a continuation and soft-reboot with an alleged PG-13 tone.
The official premise of Echo is as follows:
“Maya Lopez must face her past, reconnect with her Native American roots and embrace the meaning of family and community if she ever hopes to move forward.“
Sydney Freeland directs the first episode and others. Catriona McKenzie also directing certain episodes of the series.
