The official GTA 6 trailer has been revealed by Rockstar Games sometime after an anonymous leaker leaked the trailer online. It wasn’t supposed to go live until December 5. However, the leak changed the official release plan for the trailer, and now we have the trailer and a 2025 release date. The trailer quickly went viral on YouTube, with the video garnering over 11 million views in the 2-hour window. Although, we don’t have a specific date, all we know is that it will be out sometime in 2025.
GTA 6 Expected PC Release Date
GTA 5 was released in September 2013 and after that Red Dead Redemption 2 was released in October 2018. Considering that a fall 2025 release date for GTA 6 seems possible. However, at the moment this is just a conjecture based on the patterns of Rockstar Games’ releases.
Presumably, GTA 6 is in development for PS5, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X. In the meantime, PC is a distinct possibility, though PC releases usually happen after launch with Rockstar Games. So, while the game will release on the new gen consoles by 2025, it would only arrive on PC by 2026. Also, as you may already know, it is highly unlikely for the game to release on PS4, or Xbox One and possibly even Nintendo Switch. This is because by the time the game comes out the rumored Nintendo Switch 2 would likely be out and fully operational.
As for the trailer itself, there’s no details regarding the game as such. The song in the trailer is Tom Perry’s Long is a Long Road. And the actual trailer confirms some previous leaks and rumors – the game is set in Vice City, the series fictional take on Miami, and it has dual protagonists, one male and female. The female protagonist is called Lucia while the male protagonist remains unnamed. To know everything else about GTA 6, check this link.
