Loki Season 2 First Look Revealed, Tom Hiddleston in Vintage New York

Loki series is a Disney+ show, it was one of the early ones and people regard it as one of the best things Marvel has ever done. Loki series take place in alternate timeline, an effect Endgame as we saw Loki escape New York after the 2012 battle. While the original Loki in Earth 616 is dead thanks to the Mad Titan Thanos, we still get to see the shenanigans of the God of Mischief through this series. The 1st Season of the show saw Loki being trapped in TVA that exists outside the functioning of the normal Multiverse. The show also gave us a hint about Marvel’s future as it introduced Kang the Conqueror, a huge MCU villain that hints at a future Secret Wars event.

The show was a major success with Hiddleston of course nailing his role as Loki. We also saw multiple versions of Loki in the show like Classic Loki, Kid Loki, Boastful Loki and Alligator Loki. The show is a lot of fun but also follows a solid plot that revolves around the concept of time travel giving us the entire multiverse to explore throughout infinite timelines and universes. The show was quite quickly given a 2nd Season, the first Marvel-Disney+ show to do that. Now, after the renewal we might have on our hands the first look at the show’s 2nd season. Let’s see the God of Mischief in action.

Loki in Vintage New York?

While the 1st Season ends on a note uncertainty where Loki is sent back to TVA by Sylvie. Even though Loki wanted to stay and discuss the issue with He Who Remains- Kang the Conqueror. However, after sending Loki back Sylvie kills Lord Citadel at the end of time. That was quite dramatic end to the series. So naturally fans eager to know what is the follow-up to this. After Loki’s renewal for a Season 2 the principal photography of the show was quick to begin.

The 2nd Season of the show is directed by Aaron Moorhead and Justin Benson, the directorial minds behind another Marvel show- Moon Knight. While the shooting is still going on, some curious fans might’ve snapped a few photos the show’s production. The pictures don’t reveal much but enough for us to get excited for it.

Loki can be spotted on a dark London road in a formal attire. He doesn’t have his TVA jacket and there is an absence of TVA agents around him, so it’s difficult to predict what exactly is going on in the photo. It does appear, however, that vintage cars can be seen parked on the street, hinting at the show’s time-traveling goodies to return for another set of episodes.

In a recent interview, the co-director of the show- Moorhead said, “I think the biggest thing about Loki is just that it’s actually a lot like Moon Knight, where there’s just no reason to do it if it’s not going to be something new and fresh. It’s funny is, it does feel like Marvel would be willing to walk away unless it actually is something that they felt the unexpected. Like from Moon Knight and especially because Moon Knight is a character where nobody knows almost anything about him, yet. Soon to be changed, right? And so our gloves are off and we get to kind of do whatever we want. And everybody at Marvel and ourselves gets really excited when we are presented with the unexpected. We also of course, hope that people watching feel the same way and we’re gonna bring all that to Loki.”

Let me know what do you peg of these images and how excited are you for Loki Season 2. Loki is currently streaming on Disney+ and the 2nd Season will debut around Mid-2023.
