Mission Impossible 7 Tom Cruise Performs a New Deadly Stunt

The seventh installment in the MI franchise Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1 is reportedly has very high octane stunts never before seen in the series history.  Previously in May, the first teaser trailer of the film was leaked online, which forced Paramount to release it officially online after a few hours. The teaser showcased a glimpse of what fans are going to experience in terms of action set pieces, which you can check here. Now a new image shared by director Chirstopher McQuarrie of Cruise hanging on to a plane from the film is doing rounds on the internet and fans who saw the picture were gasping at the deadly stunt. Check out the image below.

Mission Impossible 7 New Stunt Image

Cruise likes to do his own stunts, and this image shows how much an effort and risk the 59-year old actor has taken at this point in his life to please the fans. This shot is absent from the teaser trailer released, but might be present in the new trailer which is going to release some time later this year or next year.

However, back in April 28, Dead Reckoning exclusive footage was debuted at CinemaCon, which according to sources showed a shot of Cruise hanging on to a plane that flies over a South African canyon. This also confirms the news that the trailer footage debuted at the event which starts with Cruise’s voice-over while he was flying in a biplane is slightly different from the teaser trailer officially released online in May, though both trailers reportedly contain other same shots and scenes.

Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1 is slated to release next year on July 14, 2023 and the series is going to end with Dead Reckoning Part 2 which is currently scheduled to release on June 28, 2024.
