As a part of the Summer 2022 anime schedule, Rent-a-Girlfriend has officially begun the second season and unveiled its brand-new opening theme sequence! One of the primary highlights of the Summer 2020 schedule was the first season adapting Reiji Miyajima’s original manga series, and it seems like the second season is returning during a Summer that is significantly more competitive than the first. Rent A Girlfriend Season 2 of the series has continued to demonstrate why the first season was such a success with viewers. It is one of the many returning franchises fighting for fans’ attention this season.

A new opening theme sequence has been added to Rent-a-second Girlfriend’s season, which is currently around halfway through. With its four lead characters, the first season’s opening had particularly caught audiences’ attention. The second season’s opening seems to almost match this with its presentation. Nevertheless, fans will certainly discuss whether it works as well as the first in the coming weeks, while some have already deemed it “a downgrade from Season 1”. The new opening theme sequence for Season 2 of Rent-a-Girlfriend, as shared by @Seasonal_OPs on Twitter, can be seen above. Titled “Himitsu no Koigokoro” (Secret Love Heart), it is performed by CHiCO with HoneyWorks.
