The Gray Man, directed by the Russo Brothers, recently had its first screening in the United States of America, and the film’s early reviews have started coming in. Ryan Gosling plays Court Gentry, a freelance assassin and former CIA agent in the movie. Chris Evans’ character Lloyd Hansen, a former member of Court’s CIA squad, is after Gentry, trying to hunt him across the world.
Along with Gosling and Evans, the cast also includes Dhanush, Ana de Armas, Regé-Jean Page, Billy Bob Thornton, Jessica Henwick, Wagner Moura, Julia Butters, Eme Ikwuakor, Scott Haze, and Alfre Woodard in prominent roles. Critics have praised the upcoming spy thriller, with some even stating that the Atrangi Re actor stole the show in a movie starring two big Hollywood names.
The Gray Man – Dhanush Makes An Impact In His 2nd Hollywood Outing
The majority of the reviews for The Gray Man have been positive, and critics have been greatly impressed by Dhanush. Besides his performance, the actor also charmed the audience during the Q&A session that followed the film screening. Responding to a question from one of Dhanush’s admirers regarding the actor’s screen time in The Gray Man, she wrote, “It’s brief, but potent and carries good weight in the narrative & action.”

The Russo Brothers are well-known for creating superhero blockbusters, including Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame for Marvel Studios. The siblings have also produced the movie, along with Netflix, under their company, AGBO.
The film is based on Mark Greaney’s 2009 book of the same name. The Gray Man is scheduled to have a limited release in the USA on July 15, followed by its global premiere on Netflix a week later on July 22.
