Dragon Ball x Fortnite Collaboration Leaked, Potential Skins and Events

Fortnite is well known for collaborating with a variety of brands, studios, comics, and celebrities. So, any news for any sort of collaboration should not be surprising for anyone. In these collaborations, fans are offered new skins, new missions and new gameplay enhancements according to the event. Most of these crossovers/collaborations last for a week or so but offer fans a lot of fun. Owing to a latest leak we now know Dragon Ball is soon coming up in Fortnite.

Fortnite x Dragon Ball Crossover Skins

It is truly awesome time for DB fans with the Manga coming out weekly, and the release of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. The latest film is packed with some major character moments as well as incredible action, and is blowing past all expectations. The film released in Japan earlier this month and is all set to debut worldwide starting August 18, 2022. That aside, Dragon Ball is going to be present at SDCC 2022 with a Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero Panel along with a Dragon Ball showcase consisting of Exclusive Figurines. The potential official announcements for Dragon Ball Super Season 2 as well as Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 is also expected soon.

But before that, according to info from @MidaRado the Dragon Ball is also going to collaborate with Fortnite and bring in awesome DB content to the Battle Royale game. There is no word on whether the collaboration would bring in Dragon Ball Z characters or Dragon Ball Super characters. We expect the collab to be about the latest film, Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero because it is going to release worldwide in August, so that makes most sense. However it could also be about Dragon Ball Z in general, but I feel that is unlikely.

All we know so far is that the collab will include 4 new Outfits and that it would land sometime in mid-August near the release of DBS: Super Hero. Here are the 4 potential character skins we expect to see:

Goku

No Dragon Ball event is complete without the protagonist of the DB saga – Son Goku. Although, he doesn’t play a major part in the upcoming film, he is an inseparable part of the franchise and also the most recognizable one. So, be rest assured that Goku will surely be one of them. (Probability – Basically Confirmed)

Vegeta

Just like Goku, his frenemy Vegeta is also an inseparable part of the DB saga and is one of the most popular shonen characters out there. So, we can expect Vegeta to be one of the skins as well. (Probability – Extremely High)

Gohan or Piccolo from Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero

Goku’s son Gohan who was named after Goku’s grandfather was at one time the most powerful DB character. In Dragon Ball Super he saw quite a lot of decline and lagged behind a lot but this upcoming film is al about Gohan. In Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, Gohan has achieved new levels of power equivalent to Goku and Vegeta. So being the protagonist of the film, the chances of getting a Gohan skin are very high. Similarly, the second protagonist of the film is Piccolo who too has received a significant upgrade in the film. Piccolo has been in the franchise since the original DBl so, it is equally possible that he might be a part of this collaboration. (Probability of Gohan or Piccolo – Very High)

Bulma / Android 18

If it is anything like the Naruto collaboration, there will surely be one female character. 2 most popular female characters in DB saga are Bulma and Android 18. Bulma has been around from the first episode of DBl as a tech genius and is a very essential character whereas Android 18 immediately became a fan favorite owing to her fighting skills and character development. However, the chances for Bulma skin are higher given how popular she is. However, Android 18 skin can have some additional gimmicks as she is a fighter. (Bulma Probability – Very High, Android 18 Probability – Medium)

So, our final prediction would be Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo and Bulma. Piccolo because it would add more variety to the visuals of the upcoming skins as Gohan would look quite similar to Goku. That aside, there will surely be some event challenges during the week this collab runs and will grant you some amazing in game Dragon Ball awards.
