Is Batman Bisexual Now Fans React to the Official Tease by DC

Batman is one of the most iconic characters ever made and has always been among the top 5 most popular superheroes ever. After Spider-Man, he is one superhero name that almost every person on this planet has heard or knows about. Batman debuted in May 1939 in Detective Comics no. 27 and has since appeared in numerous comic books, comic strips, and graphic novels, as well as movies, TV shows, animation, and video games.

The character is one of the biggest pop culture icons and the phrase “I AM BATMAN” is one of the most overused pop-culture phrase you’ll come across. Even though today his live action interpretations by Michael Keaton, Christian Bale, Ben Affleck, and Robert Pattinson are more famous, the comic book version is still as popular as it used to be. Batman Basically Revealed To Be Bisexual!

While fans know that popular Batman character Selena Kyle aka Catwoman is bisexual, now Batman also receives a major outing. The tease occurs in the latest issue of Batman: The Knight #5 where young Bruce Wayne approaches a fellow trainee named Anton. The two of them look into each other’s eyes and it appears as if they’re about to share a passionate kiss before they are interrupted. While this isn’t a direct confirmation that Batman is bisexual, but it’s basically a pretty big tease for it and sexuality might be explored further in the following issues.

These days just like cinema or anything else in the world, comic books are also getting more and more inclusive. And outing as iconic a character as Batman is a pretty big deal and a really bold and awesome move. Fans have previously also stated that Batman’s certain arcs made them feel like he’s bisexual. As you may know, after 80 years, Batman’s trusted sidekick Robin actually came out as bi last year. There was a running joke about how Batman shares an intimate, almost romantic relationship with Robin. Well, joke’s on you now, as now Batman too actually is bisexual. But still that doesn’t mean Batman loved Robin romantically as he actually shared a father son like relationship with him. Here’s how fans reacted to this news.

The move is receiving an overwhelming support on social media and fans have been calling him their Bi-King. This is surely a huge news and means a lot to the rainbow community in their efforts to gain worldwide acceptance.
