Other than Loki if there is any Marvel show that has tasted success, then it has to be WandaVision. The experimental treatment of the show and exploration of Wanda’s character was impressive and the audiences fell in love with it. Matt Shakman’s direction was appreciated to the point where he is given to direct the Fantastic Four reboot film. One of the stand out characters from the show was Agatha Harkness who emerged as the primary antagonist of the series. Marvel soon revealed plans of giving the character her own spin-off show that was first titled as Agatha: House of Harkness. The show went onto be retitled twice, with Agatha: Coven of Chaos and then finally landing the title Agatha: Darkness Diaries. The show has faced immense production issues to the point where it felt like it would be cancelled but Darkhold Diaries is going strong and today we have a new look at the series.
Agatha: Darkhold Diaries New Images Give First Look!
Avid fans have collected images from the official WandaVision Blu-ray collection and shared on X/Twitter by user ScarletWitchUpd that gives fans the first official peek into the WandaVision spin-off, Agatha: Darkhold Diaries. The images show us Agatha having a pendant draped around her neck and sporting a look more befitting her true identity. However, is the suburban background in the image behind her is Westview? Maybe. But, wasn’t she left a prisoner there? Well, I guess only time can tell what lies hidden.
We also have one image where Agatha is directly looking at the camera with a deadly smile that can fool any poor soul. Another images reveals Broadway performer Patti LuPone making her MCU debut in Agatha: Darkhold Diaries, playing the witch Lilia Calderu. She certainly looks the part with the make-up, costume and setting. The final image reveals a group of people, primarily women, walking through a forest. The end of WandaVision saw witchy rituals occurring within a similar-looking forest.
