There’s Disney’s MCU and then there’s Marvel Defenderverse created by Netflix and they are very different from each other in terms of setting, tone, as well as the intensity. While stakes are higher in the MCU world, Netflix’ Defenderverse features intense real life stories and questions the black and white concepts in the world. One of the best thing that came out of Marvel’s bag is Netflix’ Daredevil which is now on Disney Plus. The three seasons of Daredevil are full of character development, dilemmas, intense violence, a dark plot, and incredible performances. Charlie Cox (Daredevil), Vincent D’onfrio (Kingpin), Wilson Bethel (Bullseye), Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page), and Jon Bernthal put all they are into their characters, giving us some of the best Marvel moments of all time.
Ever since Charlie Cox’ Matt Murdock aka Daredevil appeared in No Way Home, and Vincent D’Onfrio’s Kingpin appeared in Hawkeye, many new Marvel fans have been watching Marvel Netflix shows. That aside, a huge bunch of hardcore fans can’t stop rewatching these shows and getting hyped for their future in MCU. Well, we have a really good news for all those fans, especially those of Daredevil.
Disney’s Daredevil Series To Be A Continuation of Netflix’ Daredevil Season 3
If you aren’t aware, Disney+ is officially moving forward with a Daredevil revival series as Matt Corman and Chris Ord sign on to write and executive produce.
A new report suggests that Disney+’s new Daredevil series will be a continuation of the Netflix’s series and this is really great. That means, all those years of hard work won’t go to trash and Disney’s Daredevil might actually be something we all wanted. While the series was cancelled because of Disney Netflix conflict of interest, we will now see our beloved characters return. The popular and reliable site, The Hollywood Reporter‘s sources described Disney+’s Daredevil as “the first of the Netflix Marvel shows to get a new but continued series.”
This is really awesome news which means we’ll get to see Daredevil go up against Bullseye once again! That aside, we also have hope of Jon Bernthal’s Punisher and Kristen Ritter’s Jessica Jones to return as well. D’onfrio’s Kingpin might return as well but here’s where the timeline doesn’t match. At the end of Daredevil Season 3, Daredevil sent Kingpin to prison once and all, this time fool-proofing his plan. But in Hawkeye we saw Kingpin walking as a free man and was seemingly killed off screen at the end. But even though he’s alive, it doesn’t explain how he managed to get out of the prison and take over the city once again.
Anyways, we’ll surely learn more about this in the upcoming months. Our only wish now is that Disney doesn’t strip the show of its intensity and tone and reduce it to a PG-13 version of itself. That aside, this is pretty exciting news for all fans and we can’t wait to hear more about it!

Disney won’t be dumb (IMO) and make it PG-13. That is why they have added the new parental control locks so children won’t have access to these type of shows.
I really do hope so. Moon Knight and Blade have suffered the same fate. I don’t wanna see Daredevil and Punisher go down that road.
