Midnight Sun Confirmed!

When the MCU first started all their films mostly focused on sci-fi elements except for the first Thor movie. All Marvels films, as they were part of a cinematic universe followed similar sciency undertones. It seemed Marvel purposefully wanted to keep their magical comic book side at bay. However, when Marvel took their first step towards magic, it was a big one. The studio introduced Doctor Strange in the 2016 film of the same name. Since the success of the Scott Derrickson directorial, the MCU opened their doors wide towards magic. Following Doctor Strange, many characters have been introduced in the MCU that are of magical origin.

With so many magical characters hanging around it was inevitable that Marvel introduces their infamous Midnight Sons saga especially with Blade debuting soon. So, here’s everything we know about it.

When Will We Finally Get A Live-Action Midnight Sons?

Multiple industry insiders and leakers have confirmed that Marvel has officially greenlit a Midnight Sons movie and it will come out soon once Blade debuts in the MCU on November 7th, 2025. A Midnight Sons movie coming out now makes sense as Marvel has recently “Marvel Spotlight” that is supposed to focus on street level superheroes. The first show under that banner was Echo.

Marvel Spotlight will be about standalone projects with street-level stakes, making it an ideal platform for Ghost Rider’s debut. We all are aware of the character’s popularity, which is a necessity for Marvel right now. With the amount of supernatural characters that Marvel has and the ones that are set to debut, Ghost Rider will make an ideal addition to crossover with characters like Blade, Moon Knight, etc. to form Marvel’s Midnight Sons.

What better way to introduce Ghost Rider then to have him in a post credit scene of an R-rated movie that will be about a member of the Midnight Sons. I think that will be the ideal way to introduce the iconic character.
