Thor 4: Love and Thunder Debuts the Best Marvel Trailer Since Sometime

Following the steps of its predecessor Thor: Ragnarok, Thor: Love and Thunder has debuted one of the best Marvel trailers ever made. Honestly, we expected nothing less from Taiki Watiti as he always finds ways to make his films fun yet intense. It was confirmed on Saturday that the new trailer will be launched on Monday, 23rd May and here it is, right on time! Check out the trailer below:

The first teaser debuted last month and showcased Thor on a journey of self discovery once again and attaining some sort of peace and stability in life. This teaser on the contrary packs a few bangs and reveals the much awaited first look at Christian Bale’s Gorr the God Butcher, and Russell Crowe’s Zeus. As expected the trailer is funny as hell but at times quite intense especially during the Gorr scenes.

Christian Bale’s character looks pretty terrifying, even more so than in the comics. He is instantly being compared to Harry Potter’s Voldermort and being called the dark lord with nose. While Jane Foster, Thor Odinson and the others look quite comic book accurate Gorr doesn’t as Watiti seems to have taken some creative liberties to make him look even more horrifying. The plot of the movie is as expected; Gorr the God Butcher going on a rampage to destroy the Gods leading in Thor, Jane, Valkyrie, and Gods of Olympus’ paths intertwining in an attempt to take him down.

We also saw a rather hilarious look inside Olympus where we see Zeus being a ladies man as he flicks to reveal Thor’s disguise. To Thor’s disdain, he inadvertently flicks too hard causing him to be fully naked in the great hall of Olympus. Ahh classic Taika Waititi humor. This trailer has raised the bar very high and now our expectations from Thor 4 are even bigger than before.

Thor: Love and Thunder is all set to hit the theatres on 8th July, 2022.
