Over the years Amazon Prime Video has brought us some amazing pieces of content. From big budget stuff like The Boys, the upcoming LOTR: Rings of Power and God of War, to comedy drama shows like Fleabag, Marvelous Ms. Maisel, and Good Omens. This comedy fantasy series sees fussy angel Aziraphale and loose-living demon Crowley team up to stop the approaching Armageddon. Season 1 of the series hit all the right notes and presented an enjoyable and fun adventure. The series succeeded in creating a loyal fan base and we have some really good news for the fans.
Director Gaiman Teases Season 3
Hear me and rejoice as Good Omens isn’t going to end anytime soon. Well, that’s what the director seemed to imply with his exciting reply to a fan tweet. When a fan asked about whether season 2 would be the end, Director Neil Gaiman replied that there’s a lot of potential for future. Here, check out the tweet below.

So, he basically teased that we will most likely see, not just a season 3 of the show but a lot more. The tease comes even before season 2’s release and in the recent times, we have seen a lot of filmmakers do that. Filmmakers and studios are getting incredibly confident in their ventures as today’s audience basically craves more content. Anyways, getting back to the point, the filming for season 2 of the show is now wrapped and it will come out this year itself.
The new six-episode season of Good Omens will explore storylines that go beyond the original source material, co-written by Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. By source material we mean the books the show is based on. Michael Sheen, David Tennant, and Doon Mackichan are all set to reprise their roles with many new additions. Amidst the anticipation of season 2, this season 3 has excited the loyal viewers even more and it seems like Gaiman has a lot more stories to tell.
