The Academy Awards 2022 ceremony just concluded and we have all the winners. While awards do not decide how great a piece of cinema is, they are necessary to appreciate the efforts of numerous people involved in a film. Oscars are considered to be the most prestigious cinema awards ceremony worldwide even though its quite Hollywood centric. Anyways, this year’s Oscars depict a familiar story and nothing out of the ordinary.
Denis Villeneuve’s Dune received the highest number of Oscars (6) but none of them in the big 5 categories. We predicted that Dune will win a lot of technical awards and that is exactly what happened. The legendary score composer Hans Zimmer also finally won his first Oscar since 1995 after a lot of snubs. CODA follows Dune’s lead with 3 awards, including the Best Picture and the Best Adapted Screenplay. The Eyes of Tammy Faye also won 2 Oscars including Best Supporting Actress. Apart from these 3 film, none of the films made it past 1 Academy Award. So, here’s the full list of the Oscars 2022 Winners.

Oscar 2022 Cheer Moment
WINNER: Zack Snyder’s Justice League won the award as fans voted the final act’s Flash Speedforce Scene as the biggest cheer moment of 2021 beating Spiderman: No Way Home’s Team Up moment which seemed like the probable winner at first.
