Marvel’s docu-series of specials, Marvel Studios: Assembled, which first premiered in February, 2021 on the streaming service D+ had its latest episode focused on the last Disney live-action series Moon Knight. The show which started as a behind-the-scenes special for all Phase 4 MCU properties, had released the trailer recently which showed the cast and crew interviews for Moon Knight.

The Making of Moon Knight
The episode has lots of tidbits and interesting details going back to the initial drafts of the show which set the whole story of the series in New York, instead of Egypt . The making of Moon Knight is the ninth episode of the show while the previous episodes focused on the making of Wanda Vision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, What If…?, Shang-Chi and the legend of the Ten Rings, Hawkeye, Eternals. All the episodes were available to stream on Disney Plus.
Meanwhile, though marketed and promoted as a miniseries, Moon Knight might return for a second season or show up in some future MCU film in a cameo. There are no concrete plans for now but Oscar Isaac very much expressed his interest to return if there’s a season 2 and if the story made sense. May Calamawy who plays Layla and recently revealed to be the Scarlet Scarab stated her interest to come back, along with Ethan Hawke who plays the primary antagonist Arthur Harrow.
We have to wait and see what the future of Moon Knight is going to be in the MCU. Meanwhile, fans of the Moon Knight can rejoice and satisfy with Marvel Studios: Assembled new documentary episode focusing on Moon Knight’s behind-the-scenes.
