The Lincoln Lawyer is the latest web series released by Netflix on 13th May 2022, at 3 am ET. The series consists of 10 episodes which follow the idealistic lawyer Mickey Haller. It stars Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Neve Campbell, Becki Newton, and Jazz Raycole in major roles. The Lincoln Lawyer is based on the novels by Michael Connelly and as you may know, this is not the first live action treatment of the same. The 2011 film, The Lincoln Lawyer was also an adaptation of Michael Connelly’s novels and featured Matthew McConaughey as Mickey Haller.
Anyways these two adaptations are quite different from each other and are in no way connected to each other. The Netflix version released barely a day ago but it is receiving some love from fans and critics alike. Though it is no Suits or Better Call Saul, critics are calling it an enjoyable show which makes up for a good watch. So if you too have super binging abilities and are done with the show already, you might be wondering if it would have a season 2. Well, here’s what we know about it.
The Lincoln Lawyer Season 2 Is Possible
The Lincoln Lawyer season 2 has a very high probability of happening but hasn’t been confirmed so far. Let alone confirmation, we haven’t even heard anything about it from the producers. Also, we might not hear about it at least for a few more weeks which will decide how successful the first season of the show is. Although Netflix is generally confident about its ventures like The Witcher, it doesn’t seem to be case with The Lincoln Lawyer.
However, Connelly has six novels in his Lincoln Lawyer series, so more seasons are surely possible. Netflix has plenty of source material for The Lincoln Lawyer and they can definitely come up with a few more seasons. Just because there hasn’t been any talk about it before season 1’s release, doesn’t mean it won’t happen. Though a lot would depend on how successful the show’s first season is, we are quite confident a season 2 will be announced pretty soon.
