If you are a fan of The Boys universe, you might be aware that The Boys’ Presents: Diabolical debuted in March and was loved by the fans. It shed some more light on the “sup” experimenting organization Vought and some more of it secrets. But now it’s about time we got some promos of The Boys Season 3 which is all set to come out on 3rd June 2022.
The Boys Season 3 Payback Revealed
Amazon Prime has just released a poster for The Boys Season 3 which features six new supes aside from Jensen Ackles’ Soldier Boy. Soldier Boy has been teased ever since season 2 ended and in the first teaser, we were given a pretty good look for the character. This new poster is more of a sketch than live action images but showcases the upcoming supes pretty well.
The poster states “For these heroes, the battle has just begun” and showcases the following eight characters of the WWII era team Payback:
– Black Noir portrayed by Nathan Mitchell
– Soldier Boy portrayed by Jensen Ackles
– Crimson Countess portrayed by Laurie Holden
– TNT (Tommy and Tessa) portrayed by Jack Doolan and Kristen Booth
– Airburst
– Mindstorm
– Gunpowder portrayed by Sean Patrick Flanery
Payback, which most of you might not know, is the name of a superhero group that predates The Seven. The original members of Payback in the comics are Soldier Boy, Stormfront, Tek Knight, Swatto, Mind-Droid, Crimson Countess, and Eagle the Archer. As you can guess, this lineup is loosely based on Marvel’s Avengers just like the Seven are based on DC’s Justice League. We are sure to see them in action in a new The Boys Season 3 trailer which is all set to debut on Monday, 16th May 2022.
That aside the season will also feature Supersonic portrayed by Miles Gaston Villanueva, Blue Hawk portrayed by Nick Wechsler, and Eagle the Archer portrayed by Langston Kerman. What’s interesting here is that Black Noir is also featured in the poster and from that it’s clear that his story is just beginning. The Boys Season 3 is all set to premiere on June 3 on Amazon Prime Video.
