2022 was a special year for Netflix. While the year took away some of its smash hit series like Ozark, Peaky Blinders, Better Call Saul and The Last Kingdom from the platform but it also gave the streamer some potential blockbusters of the future like Wednesday, Heartstopper and The Sandman. Speaking of The Sandman, the renewal of the show was under speculation despite the success of season one. Many fans continuously wrote to creator Neil Gaiman to know the truth of the matter. However, the fact remains is that we will see more of The Sandman on Netflix. It may not be a “season two” per say but definitely a continuation of the story. After toying with fans for quite some time the show has finally begun production for the sequel season and we have found some leaked set photos.
The Sandman Season Two: The Netflix Series Finally Begins Production!
Daily Mall UK shared these leaked set photos from the production of The Sandman Season Two. Fans can get a sneak peek of the upcoming season from these photos. The leaked photos have our own Tom Sturridge in full costume ready to play the Dream of the Endless aka Morpheus in front of the cameras. Interestingly, the photos reveal a new character who is similarly dressed to Sturridge but in white. We don’t who the actor is either. Based on the photos, Sturridge’s Morpheus appears to be having a tense confrontation with the new character.
