A presentation at Comic-Con teased details about the upcoming episodes of What We Do in the Shadows season 4. Co-directed by Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi, the series is a spin-off of the 2015 vampire mockumentary film of the same name. The show follows four vampires – Nadja (Natasia Demetriou), Laszlo (Matt Berry), Nandor (Kayvan Novak), and Colin Robinson (Mark Proksch) – who reside in a dilapidated manor on Staten Island with Nandor’s human companion Guillermo (Harvey Guillén).
What We Do In The Shadows – A Vampire Wedding Teased For Upcoming Episodes
Only three of the ten planned episodes of What We Do in the Shadows season 4 have aired as of now. The season’s overarching plotlines centre on two primary goals – one being Nandor’s desire for a wife, which prompts him to start an extensive search using both conventional tactics in the Tri-state region and supernatural means, such as a genie summoned from an ancient lamp. The other plot revolves around Nadja’s intention to build a vampire nightclub inspired by the movie Blade, much to the dismay of The Guide, the Vampire Council’s caretaker (Kristen Schaal).
San Diego Comic-Con 2022 concludes on Sunday, and FX-hosted panels have dominated the event. Mayans M.C. was also renewed for a fifth season, and there was a Q&A after the upcoming What We Do in the Shadows episode “The Night Market” was screened.
Information about upcoming storylines was officially revealed during the Q&A, including the first appearance of Guillermo’s family, a romantic arc for the character, and a full vampire wedding. The official What We Do in the Shadows account has provided the breakdown of what was teased below:

One aspect of What We Do in the Shadows season 4 that has already been hinted at is Guillermo’s romantic storyline. He has a mysterious, off-screen partner who hasn’t been mentioned previously, as revealed in episode 2. While the hint of a full vampire wedding would suggest that Nandor does find a bride, it might very well end up being Guillermo’s wedding if his partner also belongs to the undead community.
