Red Dead Redemption 3
Red Dead Redemption fans might have something to be excited about, with the latest rumor being that Red Dead Redemption 3 is in the works. Rockstar Games is currently hyper-focused on the development of GTA 6, which is supposed to hit the markets some time in 2024 or early 2025. Therefore, if Red Dead Redemption 3 has begun production, it is probably in pre-production and will not be in full development anytime soon, at least until GTA 6 goes gold.
The source of this rumor is proficient leaker : MyTimeToShineHello, who states that the game is in development in a tweet, and does not give any other specifics. It is important to note that going into production does not mean quick release, because the previous iteration of the game was in production for 8 years. Also, Bethesda Game Studios has been working on The Elder Scrolls 6, which has been in pre-production for five years.
It is also to be noted that MyTimeToShineHello is primarily a leaker of movie-related information, as they have done for various MCU projects, so this could very well be a shot in the dark. There are also rumors that Rockstar Games is currently planning to develop a medieval game, which would push RDR 3 further into their calendar.
