I don’t think so anyone is unaware of The Witcher franchise ever since Netflix adapted it into an original series. The Witcher is a best-selling novel series by Andrzej Sapkowski. However, Netflix didn’t adapt it on that merit. The Witcher was adapted because the franchise was already much popular and had a huge fanbase at their back thanks to the games that were in a league of their own. Not just did they nail the storytelling and worldbuilding but they also let you be the Witcher in a massive world. One of the various facets of the game was GWENT, a card game that soon developed a major fan following of its own.
The popularity of GWENT exceeded everyone’s expectations to the point where CDPR released a standalone GWENT digital card game. Well as it happens, it seems like an update is on the way and here’s everything it will bring along.
