Taika Waititi’s Thor: Love and Thunder is going to be short and sweet. The three-quel in the MCU’s Thor trilogy is going to be the shortest film in the sprawling franchise for the past 6 years.
Thor: Love and Thunder Runtime
AMC and Cineworld have Thor 3 clocked at the runtime of 119 minutes (1hour 59minutes), which puts it the shortest MCU entry in recent times. This is not the first time Thor franchise had short runtime. For the record, both Thor (114minutes) and Thor: Dark World (112minutes) have very short runtime, while Taika’s Thor: Ragnarok (130 minutes) remains the longest in the franchise.
Thor: Love and Thunder Cast
Despite of the short runtime, the cast of Thor: Love and Thunder is heavily stacked. The Guardians except for Gamora were confirmed to appear in the first act of the film before parting ways with Thor. Valkyrie played by Tessa Thompson, a new Thor in Natalie Portman’s Jane Foster and Gorr the God Butcher, played by Christian Bale were the main characters of this film.
About Jeff Goldblum’s Appearance as GrandMaster
Jeff Goldblum’s GrandMaster is also rumored to appear in the film though he is not present the trailer for Thor:Love and Thunder.
About the actor’s presence in the film, Goldblum said the following:
“Am I going to be in Love and Thunder? The truth is, and I can say it now because the trailer has come out, I appear in it,” Goldblum joked in the interview. “It’s my most challenging role to date, and I believe my highest accomplishment. I’m not seen, visually. You never see me. And you don’t hear me. Nor am I referred to, I believe, in any scene. I am sensed, only vibrationally. It’s up to the viewer to pick up on that… But you will feel something. And that will be me.”
Clearly Thor” Love and Thunder is gonna be like another Waititi adventure comedy in the vein of Ragnarok.
