At this point, there is no doubt that MCU is a force to be reckoned with. Not only is it the highest grossing film franchise, but it is also a massive world of its own. The Infinity saga created a massive hype train which was boarded by fans and critics alike, and now all eyes are on its future. The question all of us are asking right now is, can MCU top the Infinity Saga? After No Way Home and Multiverse of Madness, fans are now sure that MCU is indeed onto something. MoM opened doors to thousands of possibilities and these possibilities will start taking shape towards the end of Phase 4. We are already three-quarters way through MCU Phase 4 and the final wave of Phase 4 is about to hit. So, Marvel Studios is all set to release a new set of information and hype-creating teasers at this year’s SDCC and later D-23.
Kevin Feige’s Plan for SDCC 2023 and D23 Expo
This year’s San Diego Comic-Con will be running July 21st through July 24th and bring along a lot of exciting stuff regarding a number of pop franchises. Of course, Marvel tops the list and owing to that, it has been confirmed that they’ll be there with a bunch of new info on the future plans. Kevin Fiege, during the press conference for Thor: Love and Thunder, revealed that they are almost done with what they announced 3 years ago, and this year, they will bring some exciting new updates. Here’s what he said:
We’ll be at Comic-Con next month, which we’re excited about. First time since we were on stage there three years ago talking about this movie and many others. And now, I think, almost, not everything but almost everything we discussed three years ago, that was released so we are excited to go and talk about the future.
Of course three of the biggest projects they announced that year in Hall H of SDCC are yet to release, which include Blade, Fantastic Four, and Secret Invasion. Although there are a few doubts in the air about whether some of the upcoming projects are set in Phase 4 or Phase 5, following are some of the confirmed upcoming projects with release dates.

We expect to see title reveals for the above mentioned Phase 5 projects as well as teasers for the remaining Phase 4 ones at this year’s SDCC and D23. Also, all events of MCU Phase 4 and Phase 5 are expected and speculated to be leading towards Marvel’s Secret Wars project. It involves almost every major Marvel superhero team in a multiversal battle of or the ages. So, here’s to hoping that MCU blows past even what they did in the Infinity Saga.
