The world of Ice and Fire has returned after a largely disappointing final season of Game of Thrones and the hype is real! The first episode of the prequel series House of the Dragon debuted on HBO Max on 21st August 2022 and Episode 3 is all set to air day after tomorrow. So with barely a day to go, fans are really excited to revisit this dark fantasy world and further explore the origin of their favorite houses. Well, this article isn’t for the people who like to witness stuff firsthand and so, MASSIVE SPOILER warning is now in effect, as the article consists of entire plot summary for third episode, thanks to the Freefolk Subreddit.
House of the Dragon Episode 3 Spoilers and Summary

Plot Summary – After learning about Alicent and her father, Rhaenyra remains friends with her but there are certain cracks in their relationship now. Laena is upset at not being picked to marry Viserys. However, Vhagar the she-dragon notices her sadness and Laena claims her. A 3 years time-skip takes place sometime either before this point or after.
Anyways Daemon is fighting w/ Caraxes in the Stepstones. Lord Jason Lannister is vying for Rhaenyra’s hand. A royal hunt is held to celebrate toddler Aegon’s name day. Viserys confesses to Alicent that he has doubts about the succession. Alicent and Rhaenyra are still trying to be friends. Alicent is defensive when her ladies insult Rhaenyra to suck up to her. Rhaenyra storms off on horseback but is attacked by a wild boar. Fortuately, Criston saves her from a wild boar and Rhaenyra savagely kills the wounded animal.
Viserys finds a normal hart instead of the white hart he was seeking, seeing it as omen that he should not change heirs. Rhaenyra and Criston see the white hart and leave it alive. Otto pressures Viserys to name Aegon heir but he reaffirms it’s Rhaenyra. Viserys sends aid to Daemon in the Stepstones and there is a huge battle involving the with, Corlys, Vaemond, Laenor, Seasmoke, Velaryon soldiers, Targaryen volunteer force, vs the Triarchy, and their commander Craghas Drahar is killed.
That is pretty much all we know about the episode in a gist and rest of the details can only be learned after watching the episode day after tomorrow.
