WB’s Shazam 2, also known as Shazam Fury of The Gods had a test screening months ago. The superhero movie is going to be part of the rebooted DCEU as the film’s plot is going to take place after the events of The Flash and Black Adam, which were the upcoming DCEU films. Shazam! Fury of the gods is currently slated to release on December 22, 2022, though it might postpone to avoid competition with Disney’s Avatar 2. Check out the plot below for Shazam! Furty of The Gods.

Shazam 2 Plot
The events of Shazam 2 take place after the events of The Flash and Black Adam. Billy is 17 and about to turn 18 and has sudden thoughts about whether his new family really loves him or not and if they’ll kick him out of the house when he turns 18. He thinks the only reason he’s with them Is because they have pity for him. The Shazam family is in public’s eye with their adventures and people having opinions on them just like other superheroes. Billy has a crush on Wonder Woman and sometimes dreams about her but when she turns back to reveal her face, he sees the wizard’s face funnily. The wizard tells him he has to step up as leader of the group since he was gifted with the powers though Billy is reluctant about it. Freddy has a crush on a girl(Rachel zegler) and they have chemistry since he’s still picked on apparently and she tries to bond with him. Two beings named Hespera and Kalypso played by Hellen Mirren and Lucy Liu have a vendetta on earth. Rachel is the younger sister of Hespera and Kalypso. While she’s with Freddy on top of the roof of the school, they’re both taken back to a different world or plane by them. The sisters have a grudge against the wizard since years ago he once came to their kingdom where atlas once ruled and the wizard supposedly used his staff to kill atlas and left. So they now want to take out anyone who has the power of Shazam.
The Shazam family finds out Freddy has been captured so they all return to the lair to find the whereabouts of this kingdom. The family is successful in rescuing Freddy and it’s later revealed that Hespera really doesn’t want to destroy or conquer earth. she’s conflicted as she really wants peace. However Kalypso’s views interfere and Hespera really can’t say anything as Kalypso is the real threat and not her. Hespera meets up with billy in his Shazam state and are in a burger place, discussing a truce. But Kalypso attacks the place riding on a dragon with the staff of the wizard since he was captured. Billy brings her to a football stadium to clash with her and the Shazam family try and help however billy tells them to back off as he wants no one to carry the burden and not rely on them since they’re his family and he loves them showing his growth. The foster parents are also there finding out he’s Shazam and they don’t want him to fight. This confirms they really love him so billy flees to the stadium to fight kalypso. Billy realizes he’s the only one to take Kalypso out since the staff is connected to his power and by linking it with him he could release a huge amount of power to destroy her which he does. Billy lets out a huge power of energy yelling Shazam which results in kalypso and the dragon being destroyed and Billy returns to his normal state but dies. The family members mourn his death while Rachel and Hespera take his body back to their kingdom to honor him and pay their respects. But Wonder Woman shows up and uses the staff and her power from Zeus to revive him. Billy is alive once again surprised, and so is the family and they return home.
Shazam: Fury of Gods Post Credit Scene
None. Also Mr.Mind and Dr.Sivana who appeared in the first film aren’t present in this one according to the sources. They might add a post credit scene in the final version of the film.
