Morbius Sony Confirms 9 More Sequels For the Iconic Film

After winning 37 Oscars and boasting a 215% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, Morbius is finally coming back! The information comes from the reputed media outlet The Hourly Beagle where R Reva Ravenson reported that Sony is currently working on not one but 9 sequels to Morbius. Fans literally broke the internet upon hearing this information as Morbius started trending with over 8 Billion mentions within an hour. As it happens, some fans actually believe that 9 sequels are quite less considering how the first film made 264 Morbillion Dollars at the Global Box Office.

At the time of writing this article, 8 of the sequels have been already filmed and all 9 of them are supposed to release back to back in the year 0003 A.R.M. (After the Release of Morbius). The sequels are supposed to expand the beloved world of Morbius beyond anyone’s imagination. As per reports, there will still be no Spider-Man in these upcoming sequels as the studio hasn’t deemed any actor worthy to play opposite to the legendary Jared Leto. However, the studio has casted more critically acclaimed actors like Daniel Day Lewis, Tom Hanks, Morgan Freeman, Matt Damon, Meryl Streep, Cate Blenchett, and Jack Nicholson in supporting roles.

Daniel Espinosa, the prodigal mind behind Morbius, has directed all the upcoming sequels, with Martin Scorsese, Quentin Tarantino, Stephen Spielberg, and David Fincher serving as assistant directors. That’s right, upon hearing this news, Scorsese and Tarantino took back their claims against superhero movies and rushed in to grab the opportunity to further immortalize their names. Tarantino said, “I am really excited to work alongside Espinosa. Watching Morbius changed something in me… I mean it was a perfect movie and the only thing it was lacking were shots of Adria Arjona’s feet. So, when Espinosa approached me for guidance to film one such scene, I said, why don’t I do it? Well, one thing led to the other… and I don’t mean to brag, but you’ll see over 1378 feet shots in the upcoming sequels.”
