While we’re all high on IPL fever right now, we know that the main cricketing event of the year will begin next month – T20 World Cup 2024. After the disappointing loss at the ODI World Cup 2023 final, India looks to end their 11 years drought for an ICC world title. Will they? Well, that’s a question only time will answer. However, the selected squad doesn’t induce much confidence. I think after many years India are not the favorites in a competition. Whatever it is, we will support our boys in blue no matter what. But I’m not sure whether we’ll support their jersey. A new potential Indian jersey is making rounds on the internet, it is suspected to be the official T20 World Cup jersey. Check it out below:
India’s Potential T20 World Cup Jersey Looks Horrible!
I came across a new image this morning that showed India’s official T20 jersey. At first, I immediately dismissed it as it looked very ugly. However, throughout the day I got many messages about this new jersey as many people are claiming it to be the potential design for India’s T20 world cup. Now, I don’t have any official update but this could be the design for some bilateral series.
Because if you look at the jersey, in the right hand side chest area it doesn’t have the T20 world cup 2024 logo. In any ICC event, or for that matter in any competitive event, the competition’s official logo is on the right hand side chest area of any team’s jersey. But incase, this is the potential design for any jersey for team India, it looks horrible and we shouldn’t ever don this jersey.
The orange layer on the shoulders and the orange borders feel extremely out of place and I strongly believe that we should stick to Sky Blue throughout. Please also share your thoughts on this jersey and do you really think India might opt for such a jersey in the upcoming T20 World Cup?
