Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2 Watch The Trailer Here -

The critically acclaimed Star Wars animation spin-off of Clone Wars, The Bad Batch which had its Season 1 premiere last year on the streaming service Disney+, is now up for a season 2 release soon this Fall. This Fall also has another Star Wars animated anthology shorts scheduled for release called Tales of the Jedi, which you can learn about from our previous article here.

At the Star Wars Celebration 2022, the panel released the official trailer for Season 2 that you can watch below.

The first season of Bad Batch is set after the prequels, briefly after the events of Clone Wars concluded. The first season also saw the return of fan favorite and long-lost clone called Captain Rex along with the presumed dead bounty hunter Cad Bane. The story follows Clone Force 99, consisting of 5 elite and experimental clones with enhanced abilities, taking up exceptionally risky mercenary missions, while they struggle to hold together as a team and find a new purpose.

The voice cast for the show includes Dee Bradley Baker, Archie Panjabi, Michelle Ang, Rhea Perlman, Bobby Moynihan, Freddie Prinze Jr., Taran Killiam, Seth Green and others. The series received critical acclaim on par with Clone Wars and received a renewal from Disney back in August 2021, just ahead of two-part first season finale.

The panel also announced that there’s a time jump between the first season and second season, with the crew getting new armors and young Omega getting a little older.

Baker who attended the panel and plays the titular The Bad Batch said the following:

“I really love the choice to center the story around a child. To find not just a soldiers’ way but how to raise a child to find her superpower as this world shifts from the Republic”
