The story of DCEU (now DCU) in 2022 has been one full of ups and downs. The hype for DC comics inspired movies was rising after The Suicide Squad, The Batman, and Peacemaker and with Henry Cavill’s cameo in Black Adam, the hype reached peak! But unfortunately the year ended with a disaster for them. Fans lost their faith in WB after James Gunn and Peter Safran announced their plans which brought cancellation of many DC project. That aside, their plans didn’t have any space for Henry Cavil, Gal Gadot, Ben Affleck and the already established DCEU. This led to speculations that The Flash will completely reset the DC Universe but is it true? Read on to find out as we have for you the latest leaks about The Flash 2022 movie starring Ezra Miller.
Black Flash, Batman and The Flash First Look Revealed By Merchandize
As you may know, DC’s upcoming The Flash movie will deal with one of the major storylines of the DC comics as well as the Flash comics called, “Flashpoint Paradox”. Now obviously, there will be a lot of modification and alterations and the film is not an adaptation but rather is inspired by it. The main theme of the storyline was Barry trying to avoid a war between Aquaman and Wonder Woman by travelling through time. Now, like all good comic book stories, we need a villain and Reverse Flash aka Professor Zoom served as the prime antagonist of the arc. However, it seems like DCU has plans of its own.

As you can see, in the tweet above, the new leaked merchandise for the film showcases Michael Keaton’s Batman, Ezra Miller’s Flash and Young Flash, along with Dark Flash or Black Flash. Most probably, Miller will be playing this role as well as maybe that’s precisely why Miller weren’t removed from the project after all the charges and lawsuits. As per leaked plot, Miller will be playing a lot of roles in this film and this latest merch leak confirms Black Flash. So it is highly possible that entire set of leaks was true but before checking them out here, beware of major spoilers.
The Black Flash in comics essentially fulfills the same role as Death for those who possess super-speed in the DC Universe, returning the speedster to their power source: the Speed Force. He is not the villain of the Flashpoint storyline but apparently he is the film and it is possible that many of you won’t agree with this. But it is what it is as there has been no sign of Reverse Flash in any of the leaks or official information. Another thing is that you can guess how major a player Michael Keaton’s Batman actually is the upcoming film. His merchandize looks exactly like his 1989’s Batman and he’ll play a major role in Barry’s adventure in the alternate timelines.
