Hogwarts Legacy Plot Leaked, Maps, Full ArtBook, Story Length and Playtime!

Hogwarts Legacy has been developed by Avalanche Software and published by WB and is set to release on 10th February 2023, for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. The PS4 and XBox One release for the game is set for April 2023 while Nintendo Switch release will take place in July 2023. In the past week there have been a lot of leaks for Hogwarts Legacy including characters details, almost all of the artbook and what not. Today we have for you a compilation of all those major leaks so read forward with caution! The segments will progress as Map and Artbook Leaks, then Playtime, and then the plot leaks. So, you can manage you read accordingly.

Hogwarts Legacy World Map and Artbook Leaks!

As of today, almost all of the artbook has been leaked and the image above consists of the maps players will be able to explore in the game. The first map you can see is of the Hogwarts Castle and you can make out that there are some minor changes in the map from the books and movies. However, these changes look good and hopefully Hogwarts Castle itself will hold a lot of places and rooms to explore. Moving on, the second image is an early rendition of the full map of the game and as per new information the actual map has been reduced by 1/3rd.

Finally we have the map for the major playable areas which include the castle, Black Lake, The Forbidden Forest, and Hogsmeade. So, basically all the major areas of Hogwarts will be explorable however, there might be more areas to explore whose map hasn’t been leaked yet. All these leaks are a part of the art book, pages of which, have been leaking constantly since a few days. How Long Will It Take to Beat Hogwarts Legacy?

As per latest leaks, the story length for Hogwarts Legacy while focusing on the main objectives on normal difficulty will be around 35 hours. Now I know it is less than expected but its a hell lot more than most similarly priced games out there. Also the 100% completion for Hogwarts Legacy, will take around 70 hours, which again, is a bit less than expected. Of course this is the leaked playtime and not the official reported time. You might remember God of War: Ragnarok’s early playtime was leaked to be 18-20 hours, however, it ended up taking between 25-30 hours. So, similarly you expect Hogwarts Legacy to be 4-5 hours less or more. Anyways, how long it takes to beat mostly depends on your playstyle, skills, difficulty mode, and understanding of the game. Good news is that if you really wanna explore the game and see it’s every aspect it offers you 70-80 hours of gameplay.

Plot Leaks and Other Details

Once again, these are all based on the artbook leaks and the might or might not end up being totally true but most of them will. So, we’ve listed all these details below for you!

• There are nearly 100 Merlin’s puzzles in the game. The puzzles are solved in a variety of ways, covering almost all the magic that the player has learned
• Looking back at the first game preview in September 2020, 90% of the stuff in it has been cut or redone. Behind the scenes secret story
• The game folder was created in 2017. Initially it was intended to include Quidditch and support all 4 Quidditch positions. Then it was abandoned after a year. Proper trade-offs are still necessary.
• The large map was cut by nearly a quarter, the map blocks of the Highlands and Swamp areas are still available again, but are no longer playable areas. The game sales should be made into DLC if it is good.
• There are nearly 100 Merlin puzzles in the game. The puzzles are solved in a variety of ways and cover almost all of the magic the player has learned.
• Principal Black doesn’t really have much of a role, but he has a fan-pleasing part in the main storyline.
• There are a lot of side missions in the game, including three side missions through the main line. There is no fourth one. Ravenclaw got thrown aside.
• PS platform exclusive mission is really quite interesting, if you have the conditions it is recommended to get the PS5 version. The PS platform exclusive for a year is also served.
• Avada Kedavra Spell can only be learned from a side mission after completing the main storyline at a very late stage.
• Players can fly near/over Hogwarts Castle, but cannot ride a broomstick or mount into Hogsmeade.
• Players can even catch the Phoenix inside the game. Phlegm
• The side quests in the game are rich, or the gameplay tutorial is functional, or it has independent dungeon exploration and boss battles. It is recommended to complete as many side quests as possible before advancing the main story
• Different houses will have different progressions on individual main quests, but eventually wrap up into the same result. Students from a certain house will therefore visit Azkaban briefly.
• The Avada Kedavra curse can only be learn from a side mission, after completing the main storyline at a vert late stage.
• There are only three companions (Natty, Poppy, and Sebastian) (via the Relationships Quest Page)
• The Goblin Rebellion is the main antagonist (via the Quests Section)
• The Chamber of Secrets is not in the game (via the Dungeons Section)
• Classes will have assignments that take you to find hidden features around the Castle and the greater World
• You meet the Keepers who are from some time in the past and similar to the Hogwarts founders somehow, and learn to control Ancient Magic through them to defeat Ranrok.
