The Mission Impossible Series is one of the most famous franchises of Hollywood. Tom Cruise is the star of the entire franchise and the first 4 films in the franchise were directed by different directors. However, the fifth film was helmed by Christopher McQuarrie and apparently he did such a good job that the franchise has stuck with him ever since. He directed the next two films in the franchise Mission Impossible: Fallout and MI7: Dead Reckoning Part 1, and now he is going to direct the alleged final instalment of the franchise. Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part 2 is supposed to conclude the franchise and give a proper send off to Tom Cruise’s Ethan Hunt. Good news is that we have an incredible update for you guys!

Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning Part 2: Tom Cruise New Stunt Video Leaked

As you may know, the SAG-AFTRA strikes put the filming for the final instalment of the franchise on hold. Well, we are happy to report that now, not only has the filming for the film resumed, but we also have the first BTS stunt clip featuring Tom Cruise’s Ethan Hunt. According to various sources, Tom took a private jet from Florida to London and then boarded a helicopter to begin filming Mission Impossible 8. So, first of all, have a look at the video below! Fans were surely happy to receive this update and exclaimed how Tom is over 60, yet still doing these kinds of stunts. However, a few other fans noted that its not Tom but some stunt double. Anyways, the stunt sees Ethan on top of a speeding car and later grabbing a rope mid-way and hanging on to it like Spider-Man. Reportedly this scene has been shot in London and apparently, a couple of stuntmen also performed parts of this scene. Well, from the clip attached above, you can see for yourself and let us know if that Tom or a stuntman in the comments below.

Anyways, the good news is that the film has resumed production and that we’ll get a lot of compelling and innovative stunts in the film. Mission: Impossible franchise director Christopher McQuarrie revealed in July that the intention was to resume filming as soon as the strikes end confirming that much of the action movie had already been shot. McQuarrie also said the goal is to complete principal photography by early 2024. The film stars Tom Cruise, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Hayley Atwell, Esai Morales and Vanessa Kirby. Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part Two is slated to release on 28th June 2024.
