Wicker is a 2026 romantic fantasy comedy-drama written and directed by Alex Huston Fischer and Eleanor Wilson. Based on Ursula Wills’ short story “The Wicker Husband,” the film stars Olivia Colman, Alexander Skarsgård, Elizabeth Debicki, Marli Siu, Nabhaan Rizwan, Richard E. Grant and Peter Dinklage. The film premiered at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival on January 24, before its U.S. theatrical release through Black Bear Pictures on October 23, 2026. Wicker Digital Release Date

Wicker will be available to buy or rent digitally from platforms including Amazon Video and iTunes on December 1, 2026. The digital release will give audiences an opportunity to watch the romantic fantasy at home roughly five and a half weeks after its U.S. theatrical debut.

Blu-ray and DVD Release Date

Black Bear Pictures has not yet officially confirmed a physical media release date for Wicker. However, based on the expected home entertainment rollout, the film is projected to arrive on Blu-ray and DVD in late December 2026 or January 2027. Standard Blu-ray editions are expected, although details about potential 4K Ultra HD editions, special packaging and bonus features have not yet been announced. Retailer pre-orders may become available once the distributor confirms the physical release schedule.

Where and When Will Wicker Stream?

An official subscription streaming platform and release date for Wicker have not yet been announced. Since Black Bear Pictures does not operate its own major subscription streaming service, the film could eventually license its streaming rights to a platform such as Amazon Prime Video, Netflix or Hulu. Based on the typical theatrical-to-streaming window for independent films, Wicker could arrive on a subscription service in early 2027, potentially around three to four months after its U.S. theatrical debut. However, its eventual streaming home will depend on the distribution agreement secured by Black Bear Pictures.

For now, December 1, 2026 is the confirmed digital release date, while late December 2026 or January 2027 for Blu-ray/DVD and early 2027 for subscription streaming remain the expected windows.
