Saw X is the tenth installment of the Saw franchise. The torture horror film series started way back in 2004, inaugurated by the horror great James Wan. The film acts a sequel to Saw but prequel to Saw 2. The film also concludes the trilogy which started with Jigsaw (2018), followed up by Spiral (2021). The film has a Rotten Tomatoes score of 80%, highest for the franchise. The film doesn’t just have the approval of the critics but also the audience as the film has raked in $111 million at the time of writing. This makes it a financial success as the Kevin Greutert directorial was just made in $13 million. The success of the film has led Lionsgate to greenlight another Saw sequel called Saw 11. Since its release in September, Saw X was available on online platforms but now finally the film will start streaming.

You Can Now Stream Saw X Soon on Starz!

When To Stream reveals that Saw X will make its streaming debut on March 27th, 2024 (Wednesday). Since it is a Lionsgate production, Saw X will go straight to Starz streaming platform. The news follows the confirmation of plans to separate the movie studio and streaming service into separate companies. This release date puts Saw X’s streaming around six months (180 days) after it arrived in theaters on September 29th.

Talking about Saw 11, the film is all set to hit theatres on September 27th, 2024 almost a year later Saw X. As for the cast, Tobin Bell, portraying John Kramer/Jigsaw, features in almost all Saw films excluding Spiral, so his return in the upcoming Saw instalment seems plausible. Also, if Stolberg and Goldfinger pursue a Hoffman-centered storyline, actor Costas Mandylor may also make a comeback. Rest cast and plot details depend on the writers’ decisions on other elements from the franchise’s history.

Saw X is available for purchase on VOD and digital since October 20th, 2023.
