In one of our previous articles about Invincible Season 2, we brought you some important updates, a timeline of production and spoilers based on comics. If you want to check all that out, click here. Anyways, Invincible season 1 opened to widespread critical acclaim as well as a highly positive reviews from the viewers. Owing to all that Amazon Prime announced its plans for at least two more seasons, but we still have barely any idea when we can expect to see it return. It has been 2.5 years since we last saw it and fans are getting quite impatient. Well, that was until now, as a few hours ago, Amazon Prime Video finally decided to update fans about the upcoming season.
Invincible Season 2 Official Poster Released Ahead of SDCC 2023 Panel
As you might know, SDCC 2023 is all set to kick off on 20th July and Amazon will have a panel at the same. Prime Video’s Invincible/The Boys/The Wheel of Time panel begins Friday, July 21 at 5:45 PM PST, 8:45 PM EST. But before, we receive major updates about Invincible Season 2 there, Amazon has gifted us with a sweet poster which showcases all our favorite characters alongside a release tease flashing “Almost There”. There entire marketing so far has been like that as the teaser they released back in January 2023 also said “late 2023, more or less”. Anyways, have a look at the official poster below.

Amazon Prime Video also shared a live schedule for everyone on their way to SDCC for Friday’s fun which is as follows:
- 4:30 p.m. PT – Invincible 20th Anniversary Panel
- 5:45 p.m. PT – Invincible Prime Video Panel
- 10 p.m. PT – Not an Invincible S2 Screening!!!
As for the release date of the show, it is expected to be revealed at the SDCC panel along with a teaser trailer or an official trailer. While according to leaks and rumors, the show’s season 2 is set to release within the first half of November hinting at a Nov 3 or Nov 11, 2023 release.
About the new characters we expect to see in the coming season, as per the events of the comics, Powerpyx, Bulletproof, Angstrom Levy, Darkwing 2, Duplikate’s Brother, Shapesmith, Oliver, and Brit will most probably make their first appearances. Moving on aside from the main cast, we expect the return of Omni Man, Flaxans, Titan, Doc Seismic, and the Battle Beast. We also expect to see a cameo by Seance Dog.
