Insomniac has been working on Marvel’s Wolverine for a year or so now and it’s first teaser debuted back in 2021’s PlayStation Showcase. You may be aware that Insomniac has suffered a massive data mine resulting in leaking its plans till 2030. This massive data mine included Marvel’s Spider-Man 3, Marvel’s Venom, Rachet and Clank and Marvel’s X-Men. However, the biggest victim of this leak has been Marvel’s Wolverine and essentially everything about the game has been leaked. From characters and cast, to gameplay videos and playtime hours. As it happens, alongside that, the entire plot and structure of Marvel’s Wolverine has been leaked as well. Anyways, this article may contain a few minor spoilers as it consists a full list and description of all the main characters in Marvel’s Wolverine.
Marvel’s Wolverine: All Leaked Characters and Main Voice Cast
If the recent past of gaming has shown us something, it is that the industry is getting more and more character oriented. While earlier video games used to be focused on combat, puzzle solving, and gameplay mechanics, now stories and characters have become a really important part of it. Also, the quality of voice actors that brings these characters to life has risen exponentially and we have received some better than movie performances since a few years. Even Insomiac’s very own Spider-Man games have been exceptional when it comes to character building and performances. Similarly, Marvel’s Wolverine is also now set on a similar track, and following are the main characters and their voice actors you’ll see in the game.
- Liam McIntyre – Logan aka Wolverine, the protagonist and Weapon X
- Krizia Bajos – Jean Grey our second protagonist
- Brett Gipson – Viktor Creed (Sabretooth) Logan’s adopted brother
- Troy Baker – Nathaniel Essex (Mr. Sinister) adoptive father to Logan and Creed, and a powerful mutant that turned Logan into the Living Weapon
- Kelly Hu – Jessán Hoan (Tyger Tiger) Raven’s wife and owner of the Princess Bar
- Nicole Pacent – Raven Darkholm (Mystique) who assumes the identity of Bolivar Trask in Madripoor
- Debra Wilson – Callisto, matriarch of Jean’s found family in Brooklyn
- Raphael Korkhill – Arkady Rossovich (Omega Red)
- Jonathan Toshiobu Tanigaki – Shiro Yoshida (Sunfire) a Mutant freedom fighter in Tokyo
- Noga Wind – Leach, a younger mutant whom Jean cares for in the safehouse
- Pragathi Guruprasad – Davina, leader of the mutant village in Madripoor
- Jeff Nordling – Walter Lankowski (Sasquatch) scientist that escaped from Essex
- Jolean Kim – Yuriko Oyama (Deathstrike)
Aside from these main characters, The Marvel’s Wolverine PS5 leak tells us that there will be three major enemy factions in the game which are as follows:
- The Reavers – will be located in Madripoor. They will be cyborg mercenaries under the control of Mister Sinister. Yes, he is in the game as well. They will utilize their cybernetic limbs and energy weapons for attack.
- The Hand – will be located in Japan and is a Ninja cult that is under the control of Lady Deathstrike. They specialize in the use of blood magic attacks. Fans of Marvel’s Daredevil and Iron Fist might be familiar with this faction of enemies.
- The Sentinels – are robots used to capture mutants with the help of their energy weapons and crushing melee attacks. If you are seen X-Men: Days of Future Past, you might be well aware of this faction of enemy. Sentinels will also have 2 major bosses in the game including Proto Sentinel and Alpha Sentinel.
That is all from this set of leaks and even after such a huge data mine the exact release date of the game hasn’t been revealed. But it is confirmed now that Marvel’s Wolverine will release in 2026 for PS5.
