Spy x Family is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tatsuya Endo. It follows a spy who has to “build a family” to execute a mission, not realizing that the girl he adopts as his daughter is a telepath, and the woman he agrees to be in a marriage with is a skilled assassin. The critically acclaimed manga aired its very first anime season in 2022 which ended in December 2022. The first season consisted of 25 episodes and received a lot of appreciation from fans and critics alike. Today, we have some incredible news for its return.
Spy x Family Season 2 Release Date Confirmed
Wit Studio and CloverWorks announced it alongside an animated theatrical film on December 18, 2022, at Jump Festa. As it happens, we are now barely weeks away from the show’s return!

As you can see, the studio revealed Spy x Family Season 2 release date to be October 7 via a poster. The show will debut at 11:00PM on TV Tokyo and other networks, and later arrive on Crunchyroll as well as Netflix in certain regions. One slight change is that Ichirō Ōkouchi is replacing Furuhashi as scriptwriter, with the remaining staff and cast reprising their roles. The main cast includes:

As for the episodes, it is expected that this season will also feature 25 episodes split into two separate cours, like season 1. The season will most likely follow the manga and pick up the events from Volume 7. Spy X Family Season 2 is all set to debut on October 7, 2023.
