Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu (2026), titled The Mandalorian and Grogu on-screen, is a live-action Star Wars film directed by Jon Favreau and co-written with Dave Filoni and Noah Kloor. The film continues the story of The Mandalorian television series and stars Pedro Pascal as Din Djarin alongside Jeremy Allen White, Sigourney Weaver, and Jonny Coyne.
Released theatrically on May 22, 2026, the film follows Din Djarin and Grogu as they undertake a dangerous mission for the New Republic involving Rotta the Hutt. Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu is officially scheduled to arrive on Digital and Premium VOD on July 21, 2026. The film will be available to rent or purchase through major digital platforms including Apple TV, Amazon Prime Video, Google TV, and Fandango at Home. The digital release arrives almost exactly two months after the theatrical debut.
Blu-ray and Physical Media
The 4K Ultra HD and standard Blu-ray editions of Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu are officially scheduled for August 25, 2026. Physical release options include:

- Standalone SteelBook edition
- Beskar Collector’s Edition, featuring premium packaging, metal posters, and digital copy codes

Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu Streaming Release
An official Disney+ streaming date has not yet been announced. As a Lucasfilm and Disney release, The Mandalorian and Grogu is expected to make its subscription streaming debut on Disney+ after completing its digital and physical media windows. Based on Disney’s typical release strategy for major theatrical films, the movie is currently expected to arrive on Disney+ sometime in Fall 2026, most likely between September and November 2026.
To recap, the film arrives on digital on July 21, 2026, followed by 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray releases on August 25, 2026, before eventually making its streaming debut on Disney+ later in the fall.
