Well, as horror strikes the real world, our thoughts are with Israel, the demon nun is back to haunt cinemas. The Nun 2 is directed by Michael Chaves who has previously directed The Curse of La Llorna and The Conjuring 3: The Devil Made Me Do It. The sequel to the 2018 film, certainly opened up to better reviews than its predecessor but sadly couldn’t match the box office numbers of it. Still, the Michael Chaves directorial is a successful affair as made only on a budget $38 million, the film has earned $248.9 million worldwide. This also makes The Conjuring universe spin-off the highest grossing horror film of 2023. Its biggest competitor, The Exorcist: Believer has opened up to disappointing reviews and box office numbers meaning that The Nun 2 will most likely hold on to its crown. That being said, if you’re wondering when will the horror flick hit streaming platforms then you’re in luck.

The Nun 2 Will Start Streaming Soon!

Via When To Stream we’ve found a new listing from HBO which reveals The Nun 2 will start streaming on the studio’s own streaming service Max from October 27th, 2023. A difference in the linear schedule of HBO has suggested that the Taissa Farmiga starrer will air on the network on the night of Saturday, October 28, indicating that the sequel will arrive on Max the day before on Friday, October 27. A situation similar to this happened to The Flash, which started streaming on Max from August 25th.

The DCEU flick was scheduled for a debut on HBO on August 26, only one day after it made its streaming debut, which is what fans are expecting to happen now for The Nun 2. The Nun 2 will also be available to purchase on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD on November 14.

The Nun II is playing theaters near you and can be bought on Digital.
