Black Adam, The Flash, and Aquaman Teasers To Debut Tomorrow Says The Rock

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson took to Instagram to share a BTS image of Black Adam along with the official release date for the trailer. He wrote, ” We finally filmed “the iconic moment” and what a moment it was. World Premiere of the BLACK ADAM trailer drops JUNE 8TH.” That’s just about 10 days from now and fans all across are really excited for this widely anticipated trailer. Also, the throne of Black Adam looks incredible and we can’t wait to see The Rock on this throne of rock!

In the exclusively revealed footage at CinemaCon 2022, Johnson’s Black Adam is shown as a slave while a voice-over states “I was a slave until I died. Then I was reborn as a god. I kneel before no one.” This is followed by some cool action scenes and the trailer ends with Black Adam stating “There are heroes and there are villains, and heroes don’t kill people. Well, I do.” The trailer was defined as being quite dark and impactful much like the Doctor Savannah scene from Shazam 2019. Hopes are high for this film as Black Adam is one of the most popular characters in the DC universe, and this film will set the tone for Shazam 2: Fury of Gods as well.

While revealing the DC Heroes trailer, he wrote “the hierarchy of power in the DC universe is about to change”, which is so true considering how insanely overpowered Adam is. From the current DCEU canon, only Superman and Shazam (Captain Marvel) have the ability to match the power of this fearsome DC villain. He was ranked one of the most terrifying supervillains by IGN as he made many DC characters’ lives quite difficult.

Black Adam is all set to debut on October 21, 2022.
