We all know about Marvel’s tiniest superhero – Ant-Man played by Paul Rudd. The newest Ant-Man film is in controversy because of its quality making fans and critics calling it the worst Marvel movie of all time and rightfully so. The film has been absolutely roasted for being overly cringy and unoriginal. However, it seems like a previous Ant-Man film was also in controversy. When Marvel had originally set out to make an Ant-Man film they were very clear of their choice of director, none other than Edgar Wright himself. Honestly, this was like a dream come true- Wright would have been the perfect choice to make an Ant-Man film. However, it seems like the studio and filmmaker ran into some trouble as Marvel finally went with Peyton Reed for all their Ant-Man films. After almost after 10 years, we have gotten an opportunity to see Edgar Wright’s vision for the Ant-Man film as a leaked test footage has been leaked.
Edgar Wright’s Test Footage Looks Amazing!
I was surfing Reddit the other day and out of nowhere I find a test footage from Edgar Wright from his never made Ant-Man film for Marvel. This certainly excited me and apparently it hasn’t been on Reddit for long. This is not some year old footage that no one has ever seen. This has been on Reddit for less than a month. The test footage honestly looks terrific, something we expect from Wright. Although, if I’m being honest this scene is basically there in the film. I’m sure Marvel has this footage under their liege so they used the same choreography and action set piece in the Peyton Reed film.

The core cast of the Ant-Man franchise including Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly and Michael Douglas are returning. Along with these regulars, the supporting cast of the film has added Kathryn Newton, Jonathan Majors, Bill Murray and Michelle Pfeiffer.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will release on Disney+ on 17th May 2023.
