Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever is the final film that Marvel is ending their year with. So naturally we were expecting there is a lot of buzz around the filming given the special circumstances of the film as well. We got our first trailer of the film and what a trailer it was! The trailer confirmed a lot of things we were suspecting. We official know that T’Challa is dead. The film would start from that point as Wakanda has no ruler. We also got our first glimpse at Namor and Dominique Thorne’s Ironheart. However, along with that we got the first hint at the new Black Panther. The emotional and amazing trailer ends with a brief shot of a new person in the Black Panther suit. In the background, the figure that is getting up from the ground looks like Namor.

So, who is the new Black Panther? Well, we still don’t know. Popular candidates include Shuri, Killmonger, Nakia and M’Baku. However, the recent trailer does suggest that Shuri is going to take on the mantle but that may be a misdirection. The promotions for the film have kicked in now that there are only 2 weeks left for its release. Amidst all that Marvel has not forgotten a tradition that the first Black Panther started. To put the final nail in the coffin, Marvel has announced a new album featuring Rihanna which will be released in the upcoming days.

Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever Has a New Inspired by Album!

Black Panther 2 just like the its predecessor will reportedly have an album by Rihanna. Following the footsteps of the super hit 2018 “inspired by” album, which would have two songs two songs from the singing tycoon Rihanna. There has been buzz around the soundtrack all year because of all the rumors in the past year, about involvement of various artists including but not limited to Stormzy, Solage, Doja Cat and The Weeknd were all being considered for the follow-up album.

With only two weeks left for the November release, Marvel Studios finally gave us some hints about the Wakanda Forever album as Rihanna has been confirmed to feature.

Marvel Studios released a short tease to affirm that the pop-culture icon Rihanna will have a song on the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack. The tease video first displays the film’s logo and then the letter R stays back and takes the limelight as a hint of the artist’s logo followed by a date of Friday, October 28, hinting that the original song will be releasing imminently ahead of the November 11 release.
