Ahsoka Episode 8 Spoilers, Leaks, and Full Plot Summary For Finale Thrawn Wins Returns

Ahsoka Episode 7 turned out to be exactly we expected and packed absolutely no surprises or twists except for the C-3PO cameo. But that is not always a bad thing, as the execution of this episode was quite good for the most part, making it an interesting watch throughout. It also did a good job setting up the finale of the series where either they’ll be able to stop Thrawn once and for all, or he’ll return to the main Galaxy and serve as the big bad of the Mando-verse. So, it is only natural that everyone is pumped up for Ahsoka finale and if you cannot control your excitement anymore, we have some major potential spoilers for the episode mentioned below. Read on at your own risk.

Star Wars: Ahsoka Episode 8 Spoilers and Summary

  • Duration 46 Min 25 Sec
  • Directed By – Rick Famuyiwa
  • Written by – Dave Filoni

In the finale, a big battle awaits us which will take place in the “The Notian Highlands”. There will be two armies: the temporary, undead Nightsister one and the actual one that Thrawn has built for himself from a new species called “Nogi”. The “Nogi” have a capital ship.” The undead Stormtroopers will be on the hunt, serving Thrawn, under the command of Baylan, but led into battle by Shin. They, along with Shin, will be tracking the reunited Ezra, Sabine, and Ahsoka. The three Night Mothers don’t fight directly with the heroes, but do have an impact, for sure. We will have sequences where Baylan and Shin, as well as Morgan Elsbeth and the witches, stand off against Ahsoka, Sabine and Ezra.

There will also be another cameo from Anakin as he’ll show up as a Force Ghost, smile and wave proudly and fondly at his apprentice. As for the ending, Ahsoka is basically The Empire Strikes Back of the “Mando Era”. The good guys fail in the end. Ahsoka and Sabine inherit a secondary mission to stop Grand Admiral Thrawn and his cronies from returning to the core of the galaxy. Thrawn returns to the main galaxy at the climax of the 8th and final episode of the season, with his forces all laid out before him. Thrawn revels in the moment, promising a reckoning is coming and ready to take on a faltering New Republic and take back the galaxy.

Most likely, the allies who sprung him from the far reaches of space have been a part of a power play he has had cooking for years. The general consensus from those working on the show is that Ahsoka will have multiple seasons. The story/cliffhanger will likely pick up in the second season of the series or 4th Season of the Mandalorian. Looking at the grand scheme of things and the information, this particular attack/war is what will really allow the first order to rise. As for the fate of our heroes, not everyone will make it back. As per sources, Ezra makes it home but one among Sabine or Ahsoka does not, most likely Ahsoka.

Also, Shin and Baylan’s stories will go well beyond this season and there are further plans for these characters. Therefore, it looks like late Ray Stevenson will need to be recast. That leaves us with Hera and Mon Mothma. While we haven’t heard much about Hera, Mon Mothma will be setting up her own task force of mercenaries, bounty hunters, and off the record hires to investigate imperial projects. Despite popular belief, she is absolutely not a pacifist and, with proof, is willing to do what needs to be done, including side-stepping her council. It is possible that Hera would be a part of her task force.
