House of the Dragon Season 2 All Plot Leaks and Spoilers Compilation So Far

House of the Dragon is the story of the war that decimated millions of people and made dragons extinct. A war for the rightful heir to the Iron Throne. A war between step siblings, one of Valyrian descent and the other of Hightower Supremacy. Adapted from A Dance with Dragons, Season 1 of the show was an overwhelming success for HBO as the series had gathered an average audience of 29 Million which was second to only Game of Thrones Season eight which had an average audience of 44-48 Million. House of the Dragon also won the Golden Globes Awards for Best Drama Series and has been nominated for tons of categories for Emmy 2023. A second season wasn’t even a question and since it was actively under development pre SAG-AFTRA strikes, we some exciting new information.

This article is limited to the leaked information which hasn’t been officially made available yet. For all the official information regarding Season 2 follow this link. The following leaks are mostly reliable however a few of them do seem a bit shady. Ultimately the choice to believe them, rests upon you. So without further ado le’s begin!

1. House of the Dragon Season 2 Episode 4

Season 2 Episode 4 will be titled “A Dance of Dragons”, one of the most popular event in the books. We will see the aftermath of the Sack of Duskendale in the first half of S2EP4. The sack is lead by the Hand of the King Ser Criston Cole and his general Ser Gwayne Hightower. These scenes will include Cole beheading Lord Gunthor Darklyn.

2. More on Sack of Durskendale

Another leaked set video of House of the Dragon Season two showed us a massive battle sequence with the sigils of House Darklyn, House Rosby, House Stokeworth and House Staunton. In George R.R. Martin’s Fire & Blood this happens when Houses Rosby and Stokeworth are threatened by Aegon II and Ser Criston after the houses dismiss Otto to turn their cloaks. Check more about this leak here.

3. Return of Laenor Velaryon

Laenor Velaryon, who was driven out of the show in season one is also making a comeback in season 2 evidenced by leaked set photos. These photos were later taken down, further strengthening the suspicions. You can read more about this here.

4. The Undead / White Walkers Return in House of the Dragon Season 2

Do not lie, isn’t the undead plot point the main thing which got you invested in this universe? For most of us, it was and that is precisely why everyone was supremely disappointed by Game of Thrones Season 8. Well, the past is past, cause as per new leaks the undead will make their on screen return in season 2. The info comes as a reference board labelled “Undead” was spotted in a crowd makeup booth at Leavesden Studios. This quite clearly implies that we might see a few undead, however, it is not necessarily a confirmation.

5. House of the Dragon Season 2  – Death of Rhenys and Her Dragon Meleys

In another leak, some media posts emerged with images of a giant cart wrapped in blue tarpaulin in the filming location of Cáceres. By the look and size of the tarp-covered cart, fans assumed it represents the dragon Meleys’ head. Meleys is Rhaenys Targaryen’s dragon in the story.

6. Addam of Hull

Once again, this leak comes from the set images as Clinton Liberty was seen during the filming. Liberty’s character Addam of Hull is going to be Seasmoke’s next rider and will make his first appearance in EPISODE 2 of House of the Dragon season 2.

7. House of the Dragon Season 2 Finale

As per leaks House of the Dragon season 2 will end with Rhaenyra flying to Harrenhal. According to @housethedragons, Rhaenyra and Daemon meet with a group of lords in the godswood at Harrenhal in the finale which changes things from the books. In the book, while Daemon spends a good amount of time at the Riverlands castle of Harrenhal shoring up support for his wife Rhaenyra, she herself never visits there during the Dance of the Dragons. From this we can assume that the season would end either with the Battle of the Gullet (sea battle that involving Jacaerys Velaryon) or Rhaenyra and her forces invading King’s Landing.

That is all for today. All ten episodes of House of the Dragon Season 1 are currently available for streaming on HBO Max.
