Bullet Train Trailer Brad Pitt Action Is Basically Brad Pitt's John Wick or Nobody

Bullet Train is an upcoming American neo-noir action comedy thriller film which has been directed by David Leitch, and written by Zak Olkewicz. The film is based on the Japanese novel Maria Beetle (published in English as Bullet Train) by Kōtarō Isaka. It recently got into a controversy of not having enough Asian actors even after being based on a Japanese novel, but such controversies are a part and parcel of production. Anyways there is immense hype around this Brad Pitt starrer and its latest trailer was just released an hour ago.

Bullet Train New Trailer, Cast, and Plot

The trailer showcases a hilarious approach to a dark subject matter and showcases Brad Pitt in a full blown assassin role. In the recent times we have seen that such kind of neo-noir action movies have risen in number and major reason behind that is John Wick franchise. However, Brad Pitt’s Bullet Train has much closer resemblance to Nobody 2021. Although it is based on a Japanese novel and has a different plot, the direction style and premise seems very much like Bob Oderkirk starrer Nobody. Talking about the plot, here’s the synopsis of the film:

Trained killer Ladybug wants to give up the life but is pulled back in by his handler Maria Beetle in order to collect a briefcase on a bullet train heading from Tokyo to Kyoto. Once onboard, he and the other competing assassins onboard discover that their objectives are all connected.

The film’s cast ensemble boasts the likes of Brad Pitt, Joey King, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Brian Tyree Henry, Andrew Koji, Hiroyuki Sanada, Michael Shannon, Benito A Martínez Ocasio, and Sandra Bullock. The trailer surely makes the film look quite promising and we hope it acts as a great appetizer while we wait for John Wick 4 which got delayed to 2023 from a 2021 release.

Bullet Train is scheduled to be release on August 5, 2022, by Sony Pictures Releasing.
