Black Clover is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yūki Tabata, and its story follows Asta, a young boy born without any magic power. This is unknown to the world he lives in because seemingly everyone has some sort of magic power and with the help of his fellow mages from the Black Bulls, Asta plans to become the next Wizard King. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump since February 2015, with its chapters collected in 32 tankōbon volumes as of April 2022. A Black Clover anime television series adaptation produced by Pierrot aired in Japan on TV Tokyo from October 2017 to March 2021. That aside, a Black Clover anime film is set to premiere in 2023. But today we are going to talk about the upcoming Chapter 342 of the Manga, so beware as major spoilers for the same follow below.
BC Chapter 342 Delayed, No Spoilers This Week
Unfortunately, this week there will be no chapter because Black Clover rests for one week break. Spoilers for Black Clover chapter 342 will be released between Wednesday, October 26 (at the earliest) and Friday, October 28 (at the latest). The chapter begins as we meet a few other Ryuzen members including Imari Komari (the woman), Oookadai Zaemon (the normal looking guy) and Hanega Tsujijouzou. The three new Ryuzen members are training Asta now. Ichika is revealed to be 24 years old. Ichika has a normal conversation with Asta. She tells him The Land of the Sun is not fully stable and that Ryuuya’s right eye helps govern it, because it sees every event going on in the present.
Black Clover chapter 341 also reveals that Ryuuya’s eye has a special name: 「天眼通」or “Clairvoyance”. Ichika is basically a Ryuuya fangirl. She gives a mini lecture to Asta on him, “Even though he has no Yoryoku, with his Clairvoyance, exceptional wisdom and popularity, he united the turbulent Land of the Sun. Continue reading here.

According to Manga Plus, Black Clover chapter 342 will be officially released online on Sunday, October 30. Chapter 341 can be read for free on Manga Plus and Viz, as well as on the official Shounen Jump App at the following international times:
