Black Clover Manga Chapter 349 Full Plot Summary, Leaks, and Spoilers + Raw Scans

Black Clover is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yūki Tabata, and its story follows Asta, a young boy born without any magic power. This is unknown to the world he lives in because seemingly everyone has some sort of magic power and with the help of his fellow mages from the Black Bulls, Asta plans to become the next Wizard King. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump since February 2015, with its chapters collected in 32 tankōbon volumes as of April 2022. A Black Clover anime television series adaptation produced by Pierrot aired in Japan on TV Tokyo from October 2017 to March 2021. That aside, a Black Clover anime film is set to premiere in 2023. But today we are going to talk about the upcoming Chapter 349 of the Manga, so beware as major spoilers for the same follow below.

Black Clover Chapter 349 Spoilers and Full Plot Leaked

Editor’s note on first page: “Asta completed his training & mastered “Zetten”! Now Paladin-turned Sister Lily is in front of him…?” Heath flashbacks to chapter 9 (?) when Asta defeated him for the first time and is surprised Asta would be in his way again. Yosuga tells Heath that he’s his opponent because he “can’t let the randezvous of a man and woman be interrupted”. Lily asks why Asta is alive. Asta says that the people of this country saved him & he was wondering if it was Lily herself that sent him to this country…? Lily says that’s not the case and she indeed intended to kill Asta.

Asta claims that cannot be, the Sister he knows wouldn’t try to kill him even when manipulated. Lily says she’s not being manipulated. She says they don’t want Asta alive & unleashes “Fist of Love” spell, Asta flashbacks to when Lily did this during his childhood. Lily is thinking: her “enforced spatial travel” spell is not possible to use on Asta unless he’s immobile. (So she did forcibly teleport him previously, as previously this spell was unnamed). Black Clover 349 continues as Lily can’t use “sacred mana domination” either because of anti magic. She kindly asks Asta why he didn’t just die previously, and then unleashes a combined Water x Spatial magic spell: “Sachiel’s flash”.

Lily shouts that Asta needs to die for the sake of this world. Asta replies that he won’t let Lily kill him. Lily says she doesn’t want to kill Asta either. It is explained that “Lucius is right” is prioritised and ingrained in the souls of the Paladins, however, “Sister Lily is still Sister Lily” (i.e. they’re technically themselves, but with some hardcore overriding in their souls). Asta thinks there’s no way Lucius is right and that he definitely won’t forgive him. He slashes Lily (NOT the flesh but the move to remove the “paladinness”), and hopes Lily will return to her former self. This is where the chapter ends and there will be no break next week.

Black Clover Chapter 349 is going to be launched on Monday, 30th January 2023 at 12AM JST, which is Sunday, 29th January in the Western regions.
