My Hero Academia: Hero League Baseball OVA Full Episode Description

Two new My Hero Academia Season 5 Special Episodes / OVA episodes are now screening in Japan from June 16-19 and will stream online later this summer. These OVA’s are all set to premiere in North America on July 1, at Anime Expo 2022. So, as of now fans can view them in select theatres in Japan and fans in North America will have to wait until July 1 to catch these OVAs. As for the rest of the fans, we’ll have to wait a bit longer for their streaming debut. The first OVA as reported earlier, has our beloved characters taking part in “Hero League Baseball” and here’s everything you need to know about it. My Hero Academia Hero League Baseball OVA Full Episode Leaked

The Hero League Baseball episode was described as a complete comedy gag & fluff kind of episode. Several characters got cool and cute moments, and everyone got to use their quirks in a fun way. Here’s the description of the OVA as provided by @shibuyassmash who viewed the OVA in a select theatre in Japan.

Episode Summary – Gang Orca v Shishido play out their intense rivalry via baseball. Players keep getting literally knocked out from Quirk use, it’s interrupted by a villain incident nearby, & in the end it’s just Orca vs Shishido. They knock each other out & tie.

Gags – There’s TONS of Quirk baseball mishaps and gags in this episode. These include, Mt Lady growing to catch the ball falling on Sero after getting hit in the face, Sato getting hit in the balls when he’s batter, Ojiro getting out when up for batter as Shinrin Kamui just restrains him etc.

Funniest moments – Kaminari makes the goofiest face when he gets struck out by Nirengeki using Twin Impact to speed up the ball, and then gets thrown by Gang Orca. When Fat Gum is pitching at Gang Orca, Suneater is guarding first base praying Orca gets out but resigns himself when Orca hits the ball and comes charging at him. Poor Suneater was just wanting to leave the entire time.

Motives – Fat Gum agency is there because Shishido promised them all you can eat takoyaki.

Gang Orca Gets Angry – He throws almost all of the students on his team during the game, getting mad every time they strike out. But there’s a wholesome moment where he doesn’t throw or get mad at Jiro as she cleverly used her Quirk to slow the ball down when it was coming at her.

Coolest Moments – Some of the coolest moments in the episode were, Jiro using her sound to blast the ball and slow it down, and Kirishima becoming unbreakable and holding back the power of Gang Orca’s super powered pitch.

How It Ends – There’s a robber that passes by in a truck nearby that interrupts the game. Gang Orca & Shishido rush to apprehend him & show that even though they act like they don’t get along they actually work really well together. It was cool to see Shishido fight a bit and both of them dong the right thing even after their sweet rivarly.

About Shishido – His voice apparently grows on you by the end of the episode, even though it isn’t exactly like you’d imagine him in Oumagadoki Zoo. His Quirk is introduced as Lion, as he basically has the power of a lion. His powers are briefly shown as well which include super power roaring and slashing etc.
