Based on Josh Malerman’s 2024 novel Incidents Around the House, the film stars Jessica Chastain as a mother who must protect her seven-year-old daughter from a supernatural entity that resembles her. Arabella Olivia Clark plays the daughter, with Jay Duplass, Dichen Lachman, Arian Moayed, Sean Kaufman and Karen Allen in supporting roles. Blu-ray and DVD Release Date
The physical media release for Other Mommy is expected in early to mid-January 2027, although Universal Pictures has not yet officially confirmed a final release date. The upcoming home entertainment editions are expected to include 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD. Retailer listings reportedly indicate that pre-orders are already available, with the physical release likely to follow the film’s digital debut by several weeks.
When Will Other Mommy Stream on Peacock?
Other Mommy is expected to make its subscription streaming debut on Peacock, NBCUniversal’s streaming service and the primary subscription streaming destination for Universal Pictures releases.
Universal typically brings its theatrical films to Peacock after an exclusive theatrical and premium video-on-demand period. Based on that release pattern, Other Mommy is projected to arrive on the platform around February 3–10, 2027.
