PS5 Restock This Week March 28-April 3: Target Tipped, Amazon and Gamestop Probable

Sony PlayStation 5 has had a bitter-sweet journey ever since it was launched. It came loaded with incredible new features, an amazing DualSense controller, and some great games. But at the same time, it has faced massive stock availability issues since its inception. That is majorly owing to the chip availability crisis but that might end this year as pandemic seems to be settling now. Anyways, last week we saw some PSN Direct restock as expected and this week (March 28 – April 3) also some restocks are expected. Here’s what we know about it.

Target

As you know, Target is one of the top retailers which continuously restocks. Target’s last restock occurred two weeks ago and the week before that as well, so it seems like it isn’t following any schedule this month. Being one of the top retailers which according to the insider Jake Randall, received lots of PS5 shipments, there’s a high possibility of restock this week. In fact if we go by the tweet attached below, its almost a guarantee. It will most probably take place on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. ET. So, follow Target very closely this week. (Probability – Very High)

Stores started receiving new shipments immediately after the last restock (3/10) however many stores are still receiving shipments of 10-30+ consoles over the weekend and start of next week. This makes next week much more likely but a small drop is (1/3)

Amazon

It’s about time for a new Amazon PS5 restock and the drop is most likely coming this week given Amazon’s habit of restocking from the 20th onwards each month. Amazon has been reported to be hosting an all-member event in late March, which will be taking place on or before Thursday. So, even if there’s no in-store drop, Amazon Prime Members can expect one during the event. So, prime members its time to extract the full potential of your membership. (Probability – High)

GameStop

Another retailer you need to keep your eyes on this week, is GameStop. GameStop’s last restock occurred on on March 8 and there hasn’t been any restock since then. So yes, for the next 7 days keep yourself posted with GameStop outlets near you, cause your console might be on its way. (Probability – High)

Best Buy

Best Buy’s last restock occurred on 10th March, but there’s a possibility of restock this week and here’s why. Prior to March 10, its restock was on 20th January. So considering that it restocked with such a huge gap the stock was pretty low. Hence, it is being assumed that it still has some stock to sell and if it does, it will be out this week. (Probability – Low to Medium)

Other expected drops:

Antonline – Last Restock on March 2

Walmart – Last Restock on March 14 but only for Walmart+ subs

Least expected drop this week is PSN Direct because last drops occurred just 3 days ago and they only drop twice a month which have already occurred. So, do not waste time expecting a PS Direct drop and stay focused on Target the most, and prime members can also focus on Amazon.
